This morning as I watched a butterfly hop from one flower to another I wondered what a greedy chap this is. Sucking up the nectar from one flower and hoping over to the next and the next in never ending routine. Millions of these flying creatures suck up the nectar from the flowers every single day and yet they never seem to run out of food.
One seldom hears of creatures of the wild running out of food, or dying of starvation.
Why is it then that the human kind faces such crisis. Hundreds of thousands of humans are starving every day even while tons of food is wasted in other places.
We claim to be a clever race, masters of the universe, yet we cannot solve a simple problem, yet we cannot connect food that is being wasted in one place with starving people in another.
